Autumn is nearly upon is and we here at London Calling have just successfully concluded our summer of outdoor comedy. We opened with the Lent Festival in Maribor in June, we had a fantastic evening in Trsatska Gradina in Rijeka in July, a few nights later we were guests in the beautiful Laganini Beach Club in Ciovo near Split.
In August we joined the famous Spancirfest street festival in Varazdin. Finally, the season closed in Zagreb in late August, on the summer terrace of the Jagerhorn hotel. The hotel has been a friend and supporter of London Calling from the very beginning, therefore we were very honoured to close our season with them.
For many, Croatia connotes sea, sun, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. We hope that we’ve been able to provide our comics with at least taste of this experience. We also hope that this summer we have achieved in bringing Croatian audiences even closer to the experiences of a London Comedy club.
