As 'London Calling' fever spreads across the region , keeping us laughing and smiling, it's time for the people of Čakovec to absorb a part of the action! Cultural apetite has always been a part of it's  background and following the project’s success in other cities, for the first time, London Calling Croatia is proudly set to perform at the centar za kulturu on 16.11.2012 at 7.30pm ready to tickle Čakovec with three international acts for a night of humour, laughs and LIVE entertainment direct from the London comedy stage.

London Calling NOVEMBER TOUR brings to Zagreb and Čakovec 3 experienced acts including Paddy Lennox from Ireland, award-winning English comedian Steve Hall and Christophe Davidson, a Canadian residing in Britain, all ready to make you laugh out loud!

Let’s get to know the acts a little better:

Paddy Lennox – Ireland
"...simply a scream." The Telegraph

"comedy the way it should be: a laugh-a-minute which leaves the audience wishing the show was just a little bit longer" Fest

Irish comedian and actor Paddy Lennox first burst on to stage as a stand-up comedian in 2001 before appearing in a couple of comedies at London's Shakespeare Globe Theatre. Paddy is an engaging and instantly likeable comic, with a warm and natural approach, combining topical material, observational routines with impressive improvisation and banter to give you some great entertainment.

Recently, Paddy’s been working the corporate scene including gigs for the BBC, ITV and Talksport Radio. Whilst playing all the usual big clubs, Paddy equally likes to perform in smaller ones as he says 'otherwise life gets too predictable'.

As an accomplished comic actor, he has already created a pretty impressive list of theatre, film and TV performances. He's also an excellent voice-over artist and has voiced and appeared in numerous commercials across the UK and Ireland. When not gigging all over the UK, Paddy tries to play the piano to help him unwind.

Steve Hall - England
"Steve Hall is the most intelligent stand-up you've never heard of" GQ Magazine
"Russell Howard's fine support act" The Times
Hall often outguns his three compatriots with sharply Steve Hall joined the stand-up circuit back in 2002, where he quickly began to impress audiences entering the final stage of the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award, runner-up in the BBC New Comedy Awards and nominated for the 2006 Edinburgh Comedy Award.

Sharing the same school as Sacha Baron Cohen and Matt Lucas, Steve has appeared on our TV screens with the BBC numerous times both as a stand-up act and as a comedy actor. He sharply manages to delightfully mix an eloquent intelligence with self-mocking stupidity and storytelling. As Steve says 'failure makes me laugh out loud, most commonly my own'.

He has supported some of Britain's most well known acts including Lee Mack on tour and Russell Howard performing at Wembley Arena twice and appearing as a guest and writer for the BBC's Mock the Week.

Christophe Davidson - Canada
"Enchanting." Talk Fringe
"Amazing...simultaneously on the edge and refreshing all at once" Montreal Main

Toronto born comedian and filmaker, Christophe, who has only had a few years in comedy has already performed alongside some of the most talented comedians in the world touring the U.S., Canada, and this year taking his show to Australia. This year alone Christophe has taken his unique brand of comedy to Australia in his one-man show “No Less Of A Man” at the Adelaide Fringe festival, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, & The Sydney Comedy Festival.

Constantly pushing himself as an artist, Christophe brings a unique perspective to the stage from his femininely shaped childhood, mixing personal stories, observations, and a genuine concern for the world we live in. He has often been described as a hilarious, sensitive man with a nice-guy innocence and will do his best to convince you it’s better to make love than war.
