Who are we?
London Calling Comedy Club is a project bringing the experience of classic London comedy clubs to audiences in Eastern and Central Europe. LC had it’s origins in Croatia, with the debut performance taking place in the legendary BP jazz club in Zagreb, Croatia in November 2010. Since then, LC has spread across Croatia and beyond Croatian borders. We believe that good comedy should not be restricted by borders. Audiences, wherever they live, providing they understand English, should be provided with the opportunity to have a taste of the London comedy circuit, which is considered by many to be the best comedy scene in the world.

London Calling Comedy was founded by Nino Bantic, a Croatian journalist and comedian based in London.  All of our Croatian gigs are organised by Udruga Urbani Ured (Cro) and all acts are booked through our friends and partners at Mirth Control (UK)

What do we do and how do we operate?
We bring English speaking comedians from the UK comedy circuit to clubs, bars, theatres and festivals on a monthly basis. Basically, we are trying to recreate the atmosphere of a typical London comedy club and provide an evening of full comedy entertainment following the classic line up: the MC, opening act, middle act and Headliner. Whenever we can, we try to promote local comics as the middle act. We firmly believe that good humor can travel across borders and is international. Therefore, we also bring comedians from Europe to perform in the UK.

We team up with the best promoters & comedy lovers in their respective cities. We just keep growing!
